Location
Christoffelpark is located 40 minutes to the west of Willemstad in Banda’Bou. Follow the roads straight in the direction of Westpoint and you will pass the park automatically. Drive carefully on this road.
Buses run every two hours from 7 a.m. onwards from the main bus station in Otrabanda, located at Molenplein/Pater Eeuwensweg.
Take the bus with destination “Westpunt’ and ask the driver to drop you at the park. The trip takes approx. 45 minutes. Don’t forget to bring along your camera, a hat, sunscreen and water.
Christoffelpark’s main entrance is located on the premises of the former Savonet plantation complex at Banda Bou (in the direction of Westpunt/ Westpoint).
The Savonet plantation house and other buildings and historical structures are in the process of being restored to their former splendor. These will be transformed into Savonet Museum, which will focus on historical and natural themes. If all goes as planned the museum will open its door in December 2009.
Car routes inside the park are paved but motorcycles, buggies and large buses are not permitted.
